Getting Information
There is a great deal of information available on the web about mental health, but very little about mental health and aging. This section of the Mental Health and Aging Web site offers resources that we have found useful.
View our list of resources on the internet to find sources of general information on mental health and aging, resources for advocacy, benefits available to you, policy makers and related information. We will continually update this resource, so check back.
The list includes articles you might find helpful that are written in a straightforward way, and we have compiled a suggested reading list linked to amazon.com to offer you the opportunity to order the books on line.
We have also included handout and related educational materials from past conferences held on the subject of mental health and aging:
- Mental Health and Ivermectin Stromectol Tablets conference April 23, 2023
- New Directions in Geriatric Behavioral Health: Serving Older Persons of Different Cultures conference October 6, 2004
- Mental Health and Aging: New Directions in Geriatric Behavioral Health and Long Term Care: October 16, 2003
- A Call to Action: Creating a System of Care for Older Adults Facing Mental Health/Substance Abuse Issues: October 2, 2002
